What do I do? Well I have been thinking and wanting g to get a bit more fit in my older age but like I mentioned in my last blog post I have plantar fasciitis so it seems running and sports are off the table.. so if I cannot use my feet how else am I going to be able to exercise and get more healthy? Hmm I guess I could do light yoga.. has anyone else got any tips for me in this predicament.
I am currently eating a lot more healthy than I used to.. I used to just eat 99% surgery foods which is really not good at all... but now I have varied my diet and eat only the healthy stuff even thought its a lot more expensive I have found that I have a lot more energy too and feel better.. shame though healthy food is so expensive.. really is not fair I think that the only reason why I used to eat junk food.. all because it was cheap not because I liked eating it at all!

Aching feets thanks to plantar fasciitis
I have really aching and throbbing feet they really are inflamed, iv never known anything like this before.. what I am suffering from is quite a common problem although I have never came across it before plantar fasciitis effects loads of athletes... but I am not a athlete so why on earth did I end up getting it then? Well I have been reading up on this condition and doing my homework and I think i found out why. I am getting older and am chasing around at work like I did when I was in my 20's putting the same excessive stress and tension on my arches of my feet.. because my arches are simply not what they used to be anymore this really has inflamed them and caused PF to occur. I have been reading about how gravity and your own body weight if you stay in your feet to long without any form of protection like insoles can really damage your feet... so it really is no wonder that I have now got these painful feet.... I am a shop assistant so i have to be always on my feet... I used to have no real problems with my feet no aches or pains whatsoever I just used to glide everywhere... I sometimes even forgot I had feet, now I am getting older so I guess like everything stuff gets more fragile and breaks more easily.
Oh well I have took a step in the right direction and purchased some insoles that have got shock absorption and arch support to give my feet a bit of a break whilst they recover, I guess I should continue wearing them even after my feet have recovered just to be on the safe side as if it has occurred once then it is probably likely to happen again if I dont do anything about it like adding arch supports to my feet! I also came across a good guide on womensprosoccer I cannot remember where exactly but I am sure if you search on their site you will be able to find it its quite good with lots of information on plantar fasciitis with everything you need to know
